A transponder key is a small chip embedded into a car’s ignition key. It communicates with the cars computer to allow it to start. The transponder key programming service will allow you to program your new transponder key so that your car’s computer recognizes the chip in your new key. This means that you won’t have to replace all of your keys at once.
The key will be broken off in the ignition or door lock. If the key is stuck in the ignition or door lock, often the only way to remove the broken key is by using a special tool called a “key extraction” tool.

On some rare occasions we may have to replace the cylinder. Since we are a licensed locksmith we can make the new cylinder work with your existing key, so you won’t have to carry two keys for your car.
